About Wellington State Park
Newfound Lake — deep, cold and unusually clear — with the biggest freshwater beach New Hampshire's parks can offer. A peninsula nature trail carries plant markers and marked fishing spots; there are volleyball and horseshoe courts, a snack bar, and longer routes out toward Welton Falls and Mount Cardigan.
