About Livermore Falls Recreation Area
A Pemigewasset River access site in Livermore Falls State Forest, first acquired in 1918 and enlarged in 1992. Ruins of a 1900 pulp mill and an 1877 salmon hatchery remain; floods reduced the falls themselves to rapids, and the site offers river swimming, a paddle launch and pit toilets.
