About Gardner Memorial Wayside Park
A picnic area beside Kimpton Brook in the 6,675-acre Gile State Forest, on the Springfield–Wilmot line. A small bridge leads to the half-mile Butterfield Pond Trail and a tenth-of-a-mile walk to the stone foundation of an old mill site.
