About Copper Falls State Park

Lava flows laid down long ago, gorges cut into them, and waterfalls on the Bad River — with Civilian Conservation Corps log buildings from the thirties still standing above. The 1.7-mile Doughboy's trail follows the gorge; two shaded campgrounds sit back from the crowds.
