⚠️ Amnicon Falls SP Campground Closed (Beginning Fall 2026)
The campground at Amnicon Falls State Park will be closed from Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026 to Thursday, May 27, 2027 for a road maintenance and resurfacing project. The road to the waterfalls and covered bridge will remain open.
The Douglas Fault split the rock here, and the Amnicon drops through the break in a run of falls and rapids you can watch from a covered bridge. Thirty-six sites in a quiet, mostly rustic campground — no electricity, no showers, no dump station.

$13 per vehicle — A vehicle admission sticker is required. Daily vehicle admission $13 with Wisconsin plates ($16 out-of-state), $3 for Wisconsin residents 65 and older; 12-month pass $28 / $50. Rates effective Aug. 19, 2025.
