About Big Bay State Park

Sandstone bluff and four miles of Lake Superior shore on Madeline Island, out in the Apostles and reached by ferry. A mile of boardwalk, a sand beach, 60 campsites and a group camp sit behind the water.

$13 per vehicle — A vehicle admission sticker is required. Daily vehicle admission $13 with Wisconsin plates ($16 out-of-state), $3 for Wisconsin residents 65 and older; 12-month pass $28 / $50. Rates effective Aug. 19, 2025.
