The vault toilets in the Harrington Beach campground are undergoing repairs and will not be available for use until mid-September 2026. Portable toilets and the flush toilet and shower building in the campground will be open during this time. Reason: maintenance.
Seven hundred and fifteen acres holding a mile of Lake Michigan beach, a white cedar swamp, restored ponds and a flooded limestone quarry. Camp, walk or watch birds by day, then come back after dark for one of the monthly public nights at the observatory.
