Wisconsin State Park
A palisaded Middle-Mississippian town stood on the Crawfish between about A.D. 1000 and 1300, and enough survives that the site is a National Historic Landmark. Two of its flat-topped mounds and part of the stockade have been rebuilt on the ground they stood on.
$13 per vehicle — A vehicle admission sticker is required. Daily vehicle admission $13 with Wisconsin plates ($16 out-of-state), $3 for Wisconsin residents 65 and older; 12-month pass $28 / $50. Rates effective Aug. 19, 2025.
Open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. year-round.
