About Schodack Island State Park

1,052 acres off the eastern shore of the Hudson just south of Albany, bounded by seven miles of river and Schodack Creek shoreline. Designated a State Estuary, with a Bird Conservation Area sheltering bald eagles and cerulean warblers.
