About Crailo State Historic Site

The museum of the Colonial Dutch in the Hudson Valley, in a house Hendrick Van Rensselaer built in the early 18th century. Its name comes from the family's Dutch estate and means "crows' wood".

Hours of Operation 2026 Season

Beginning July 15, Crailo will resume regular tour hours; Wednesday – Sunday, 11:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.

Facility hours

In general, guided tours of the museum begin at 11:00 a.m. and are offered on the hour, with the last tour at 4:00 p.m.

Crailo grounds and riverside park are free and open to the public, dawn through dusk.
