The 250-acre estate Hudson River School painter Frederic Edwin Church built as home, studio and designed landscape. Its Persian-inspired mansion is elaborately stencilled and hung with his own sketches, studies and paintings.
Olana's 250-acre artist designed landscape is free and open every day, 8:00 AM - sunset. Guided tours of the historic house and the landscape are available. Reservations are strongly recommended. Please visit the official website of Olana for more information about tours and tickets.
