About Schuyler Mansion State Historic Site
The Georgian house Philip J. Schuyler — Revolutionary War major general, senator and businessman — built on a bluff above the Hudson. He and Catharine Van Rensselaer raised eight children here.

Facility hours
The historical grounds and Visitor Center are free and open to visitors during regular hours of operation.
Visitors can see the mansion interior by guided tour only. Due to high demand, visitors should make a reservation to ensure their desired tour time. Tours are offered every hour on the hour from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The last tour begins at 4:00 pm.
