About Pawtuckaway State Park

A lake beach 700 feet long with boat rentals, backed by trails to a summit fire tower, a beaver-and-heron marsh, and a field of house-sized glacial erratics. The Pawtuckaway Mountains trace an ancient volcanic ring dike laid down 110 to 130 million years ago.
