Wisconsin State Park
Quartzite a billion years old, some of the oldest rock anywhere on the planet, with Wausau and the Wisconsin River laid out below the summit. A day-use park of picnic ground, trail and an amphitheater; Granite Peak skis the north face.
$13 per vehicle — A vehicle admission sticker is required. Daily vehicle admission $13 with Wisconsin plates ($16 out-of-state), $3 for Wisconsin residents 65 and older; 12-month pass $28 / $50. Rates effective Aug. 19, 2025.
Open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. year-round.
