Wisconsin State Recreation Area
Kettle lakes and moraine mark where the ice stopped, and the Ice Age trail runs 23 miles across them. An interpretive center named for David R. Obey reads the ground for you; three outpost sites are all the camping there is.
$13 per vehicle — A vehicle admission sticker is required. Daily vehicle admission $13 with Wisconsin plates ($16 out-of-state), $3 for Wisconsin residents 65 and older; 12-month pass $28 / $50. Rates effective Aug. 19, 2025.
Open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. year-round.
