Wisconsin State Recreation Area
Driftless country, so the ground rolls and the streams run from springs instead of lying in bogs and kettles. Two lakes hold bass, panfish and northern; there is a beach and a launch, and nowhere to camp.
$13 per vehicle — A vehicle admission sticker is required. Daily vehicle admission $13 with Wisconsin plates ($16 out-of-state), $3 for Wisconsin residents 65 and older; 12-month pass $28 / $50. Rates effective Aug. 19, 2025.
Open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. year-round.
