Wisconsin State Park
The mound tops out at 1,400 feet, and the reason to climb it is what you can see from up there. Wisconsin's First Capitol stands half a mile west; the Belmont Lions Club runs the park, and no admission sticker is needed.
Free entry — A vehicle admission sticker is not required at Belmont Mound.
Open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. year-round.
