Two campgrounds in the Deschutes and Crooked River canyons above Lake Billy Chinook — Crooked River high near the entrance, Deschutes River down in the canyon by the swimming and boating areas. A year-round central Oregon destination for camping and water sports.
$10–$12 per vehicle — Day-use parking permit: $10 per day for Oregon residents, $12 non-resident; $60 for a 12-month permit ($75 non-resident). No permit needed if you walk, bike or are dropped off, or if you are camping in the park.
