Oregon State Park
A quiet, shady campground on the trout-filled Upper Deschutes in high desert subalpine forest, linked to 14 miles of multi-use trails along both banks. Ten cabins stay open through the winter for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
$10–$12 per vehicle — Day-use parking permit: $10 per day for Oregon residents, $12 non-resident; $60 for a 12-month permit ($75 non-resident). No permit needed if you walk, bike or are dropped off, or if you are camping in the park.
