Oregon State Trail
The start of an eight-mile round trip up the west Gorge to the Angel's Rest viewpoint, climbing from near river level over boulders to a bluff with a 270-degree view taking in Beacon Rock and Silver Star Mountain. Parking fills quickly in spring and summer.
$10–$12 per vehicle — Day-use parking permit: $10 per day for Oregon residents, $12 non-resident; $60 for a 12-month permit ($75 non-resident). No permit needed if you walk, bike or are dropped off, or if you are camping in the park.
