New York State Park · Nassau County
A 400-acre, 7.4-mile linear park forming a link in the Nassau/Suffolk Greenbelt Trail, running from Cold Spring Harbor toward Bethpage. The state bought the land in the 1960s for a parkway that was never built.
No fees are collected, and the park and parking field is open year-round, sunrise to sunset.
Cross Country Skiing is available in the winter season.
