A scenic peninsula reaching into Long Island Sound, laid out as Marshall Field III's 1,750-acre estate in 1921 and named from the Matinecock. Bridle paths and nature trails cross woodland, meadow, rock shore and salt marsh.

The park is open from sunrise to sunset, 7 days a week, year round.
Cross country skiing is available during the winter from 8am - 4:30pm.
