40 hilly acres of mixed hardwood over Cold Spring Harbor, with oaks three feet across and thickets of wild mountain laurel. The northern trailhead of the Nassau/Suffolk Greenbelt Trail, and good for spring and autumn songbirds.
Parking, hiking, bird watching, jogging, walking and photography are permitted year round.
No fees are collected, and both the park and parking field are open year-round from sunrise to sunset.
