A 463-acre day-use park in West Babylon, bisected by Carlls Creek and Belmont Lake on land once farmed for August Belmont's horses. Since 1935 it has also been headquarters for Long Island's state parks.

Belmont Lake State Park is open from sunrise to sunset, year-round.
Fishing: Following DEC guidelines, available year-round.
Picnicking is available all year-round.

Fishing is permitted from Rowboats ONLY, Monday-Friday, 6/30-8/29, excluding holidays*.
