About White Lake State Park
A campground and day-use area in Tamworth on a lake the glaciers scooped out and their meltwater filled. The swimming is as good as any in the White Mountains, a maintained footpath rings the water past loons and beaver sign, the trout fishing rewards patience, and boats are for rent.
