About Turtle River State Park

Civilian Conservation Corps crews built this wooded valley park in the 1930s, and their stone memorial shelter still stands above 13 miles of trail along the Turtle River. Cast for stocked trout in summer, ski or sled the hills in winter, and stay in a cabin or one of 67 modern campsites.
