About Gunlogson State Nature Preserve
Bur oak and basswood shade spring-fed wetlands inside Icelandic State Park, where more than a dozen rare plants grow — watermeal, among the world's smallest flowers, and the boreal bishop's cap. Three miles of trail, walked in summer and skied in winter, run through pileated woodpecker country.
