About Burke Lake Recreation Area
A 206-acre park near Burke wraps a tree-lined 25-acre lake, shallow at about eight feet on average, with a fishing pier, a boat ramp and prairie wildflowers. Fifteen first-come campsites make an easy base for a canoe or kayak outing.
