About Beavertail State Park
Four overlooks and a rocky shore at the mouth of Narragansett Bay, with saltwater fishing off the ledges and tide pools to work through. The 1856 lighthouse — third-oldest in North America — keeps a museum, and a seasonal aquarium runs marine programmes beside it.
