These tree materials, including firewood, must stay within the county where they were collected to help slow the spread of the emerald ash borer, a highly invasive insect, sighted in this county. Help protect our forests by following these firewood tips: Buy firewood local to your campsite: Choose firewood harvested within 10 miles of your destination or buy certified heat-treated firewood. Avoid transporting restricted wood: Do not bring ash, olive, or white fringe tree materials into any Oregon State Park even if it’s within the same quarantine area. When in doubt about the tree species, leave it out. Learn more about the quarantine and emerald ash borer.

General advisory
Posted Jun 30, 2021 - Access into Molalla River State Park from Eilers Road is prohibited. OPRD is unable to provide legal access from the county road leading into the park. Use the main entrance at River Park Place near the intersection of NE 37th Avenue and N Holly Street in Canby.

Molalla River State Park entrance fee

$10–$12 per vehicle — Day-use parking permit: $10 per day for Oregon residents, $12 non-resident; $60 for a 12-month permit ($75 non-resident). No permit needed if you walk, bike or are dropped off, or if you are camping in the park.

About Molalla River State Park

At the confluence of the Willamette, Molalla and Pudding rivers, holding one of the largest blue heron rookeries in the Willamette Valley. Grassy fields, a boat ramp and an off-leash pet area, with the Canby Ferry crossing a quarter mile downstream.
