About Farewell Bend State Recreation Area

A desert campground on the banks of Brownlee Reservoir, with historic markers on the site's place in the Oregon Trail. The day-use area has a wide paved boat ramp, fish cleaning station and viewing deck, with deer, pronghorn, eagles and chukars about.

$10–$12 per vehicle — Day-use parking permit: $10 per day for Oregon residents, $12 non-resident; $60 for a 12-month permit ($75 non-resident). No permit needed if you walk, bike or are dropped off, or if you are camping in the park.
