About Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park

A spacious, shady creekside campground north of Florence, with trailheads at both ends running into coastal forest and out to miles of beach. The Heceta Head Trail climbs to the lighthouse, a six-mile round trip from the campground.

$10–$12 per vehicle — Day-use parking permit: $10 per day for Oregon residents, $12 non-resident; $60 for a 12-month permit ($75 non-resident). No permit needed if you walk, bike or are dropped off, or if you are camping in the park.
