Signs will be posted at each open riding area access point; the southern and eastern horse trail sections will remain open to beach access and horseback riding.

Buy certified heat-treated firewood ahead of time, if available.

Cape Blanco State Park entrance fee

$10–$12 per vehicle — Day-use parking permit: $10 per day for Oregon residents, $12 non-resident; $60 for a 12-month permit ($75 non-resident). No permit needed if you walk, bike or are dropped off, or if you are camping in the park.

About Cape Blanco State Park

The state's westernmost tip, with an 1870 lighthouse, an early Irish settler's home and sheltered campsites above a rugged coastline. More than eight miles of trails reach the beach, the Sixes River and the viewpoints, with a seven-mile riding trail and a 150-acre open riding area.
