Posted Mar 15, 2026 - Seasonal beach restrictions are in place March 15 – Sep. 15 south of China Creek to Floras Lake during nesting season for the western snowy plover. Foot and equestrian traffic on wet sand only; all other recreation prohibited. Be sure to check if your dog is allowed—some areas require leashes, while others prohibit dogs entirely to protect these threatened birds. Areas with special rules are marked on the beach with signs. Several beach accesses strung along Beach Loop Road, from China Creek to Devils Kitchen and Bandon Wayside. Parking is limited and not recommended for large RVs.
