About Arizona Beach State Recreation Site

Two-thirds of a mile of sand between two rocky headlands that shelter it from the prevailing wind — which is how it got the name. Mussel and Myrtle creeks feed wetlands that draw elk and waterfowl, and the pond is stocked for anglers up to age 17.
