About Lewis & Clark State Park

Buttes rise straight from an upper bay of Lake Sakakawea, with native mixed-grass prairie behind them and a self-guided nature trail through it. Rent a paddleboard or a fat-tire bike, swim off the day-use beach, and fish the bay for sauger, walleye and northern pike.
