About Lewis and Clark State Park
In 1804 William Clark described a lake here as full of geese and goslings; that oxbow is Lewis and Clark Lake today. Broad open spaces, picnic areas and a playground draw families, and birders come for herons, eagles, swans and snowy egrets.
