About Fort Stevenson State Park
Two marinas on Lake Sakakawea's north shore put deep water three miles from Garrison, with boats to rent and somewhere to clean the catch. Ten miles of trail loop the bluffs, and the park museum and June's Frontier Military Days tell the supply-depot story behind the name.
