About Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park

North Dakota's oldest state park, set aside in 1907, holds the reconstructed Mandan earthlodges of On-a-Slant Village, the blockhouses of Fort McKeen and a furnished commanding officer's quarters. Trails climb from the Heart and Missouri bottoms to a campground with sites for horses.
