Missouri State Historic Site
The grave of Dr. John Sappington, a prominent area doctor, alongside two Missouri governors. Meredith Miles Marmaduke was the state's eighth, serving nine months in 1844; Claiborne Fox Jackson, a Confederate supporter, was its fifteenth.
