The Riparian Trail/Boardwalk Trailhead is back open with limited parking. The boardwalk has been reopened which includes a detour requiring a step down onto a short mulch pathway that detours a construction area. Please use caution.
A boardwalk and hiking trail wind through wet prairie beside a meandering stream with oxbow sloughs, then into bottomland forest — a slice of pre-settlement Missouri. The wetlands pull in a wide variety of birds and waterfowl.
