Crowder State Park will be closed December 3rd-7th, 2026 for a Veteran's deer hunt. Only hunters who have already been drawn for the hunt will be allowed in the park.

Hunting is not normally allowed in Missouri State Parks.

Advisory
Park trails are open to hiking only due to muddy conditions. There is still debris and erosion due to the flooding which occurred on May 16/17th. We anticipate reopening the trails for normal use on Saturday September 19 depending on additional rainfall. Part of North Thompson Trail is missing due to falling into the Thompson River during flooding in May/June. We will repair and reopen this as soon as possible.

1,912 acres of rolling green hills in northern Missouri, threaded with more than 17 miles of hiking, bicycling, backpacking and equestrian trail through rugged forest. Fish or boat 18-acre Crowder Lake and stay in the family-oriented campground.
