About Lake Shetek State Park

Shetek is Ojibwe for pelican, and the birds work the biggest lake in this corner of the state all summer. A causeway walks you onto 45-acre Loon Island; a bike loop runs into Currie past the Koch Cabin and the settlers' monument.
