State Park vehicle permits can be purchased online before you arrive or using the QR codes found at the ranger station, if the office is not open. Bluff, prairie, floodplain and hardwood meet around Lake Pepin, and 260 bird species have been counted passing through. Come for the migrations, the fall color and the long look down the Mississippi from the ski and hiking trails.
