About Nelson Dewey State Park

A 500-foot bluff over the Mississippi, named for the state's first governor, whose house stands here beside the Stonefield historic site. Camp, walk or picnic above the river; 18 of the 45 family sites carry power.

$13 per vehicle — A vehicle admission sticker is required. Daily vehicle admission $13 with Wisconsin plates ($16 out-of-state), $3 for Wisconsin residents 65 and older; 12-month pass $28 / $50. Rates effective Aug. 19, 2025.
