Algae Conditions: Echo Reservoir has been issued a warning advisory for harmful algal bloom. Avoid areas where algae is present while boating, paddle boarding and kayaking. Is it advised not to swim, ski, drink the water or get it in your mouth. Not safe for pets.
Echo Reservoir, built by the Bureau of Reclamation in the 1930s to irrigate the valley below and long since taken up for recreation. Camping, boating and fishing near Coalville, in the mountains of northeastern Utah.
