Check your pets and livestock often. If you see unusual wounds or maggots, do not move the animal. Call the Texas Animal Health Commission at (800) 550‑8242 or contact a private veterinarian.
For wildlife with suspicious wounds or maggots, notify park staff or call (512) 389‑4505.

River Advisory & Trail Closures
July 21, 2026 - Swimming is permitted on the river at your own risk. No lifeguards are on duty. The Blinn River and White Rock Cave trails are closed.

Construction Notice
April 29, 2026 - Scenic Overlook construction is suspended and two-way traffic is reopened. The sidewalk is closed, and no pedestrians or bicycles are allowed. Please proceed with caution and follow all signs.
Trails in this area are closed, including parts of the Madrone Trail, Blinn River Trail, and the lower portion of the CCC Entrance Road Trail.
