About Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site

The 1859 house of James Henry Hammond, interpreted alongside the two 1857 cabins where enslaved families lived and the generations who worked the land after emancipation. A lane of magnolias planted in 1861 leads in, and the grounds are free.
