About McConnells Mill State Park
The Slippery Rock Creek Gorge was cut when glacial lakes drained thousands of years ago, and its floor is still strewn with huge boulders. A restored gristmill and a covered bridge sit at the bottom; the rock climbing here is the best in the region.
