About Laurel Caverns State Park

Pennsylvania's only underground state park: 426 acres of Chestnut Ridge in Fayette County, over the largest cave system in the state. The grounds cost nothing; the sandstone caverns are seen only on guided tours run by the Laurel Caverns Conservancy, mid-April to late October, and close in winter for the bats.
